For centuries Tibet has been the home of this esoteric art of fine weaver. As the history of Tibet itself unfolds the timeless tales of the weaver and their zeal and love for this art. The rugs were widely used in all strata of Tibetan lives, from bedding purpose to saddle and from Monasteries to Palaces. The astonishing art of dying the rug is still prevalent in the rug culture of Tibet. The Herbal Dying techno and the use of rock’s flakes are still the core part of this esoteric art.

It is amazing to witness the enthusiasm and glories of these remote weavers as every action they perform are synchronized by their timeless folk songs. As they are not familiar with any alien tongue but they speak with their eyes.

We Potala Group have immense respect for their art and the services rendered for the last three decades. At present we have 143 women weavers 34 gentlemen, all hail from remote parts of Tibetan Platue.
